We love this place, and the food is amazing. However, when I paid the bill, the tip seemed to be charged in the number I paid with my card without letting me know (i.e. the number in the check was lower than the number in the machine), so I ended up adding more tip. I do not mind paying a higher tip to people who work hard, but I would like it to be my conscious choice. I realized it too late to say anything, but please take it into consideration. If it was an honest mistake, we all make them, but I do hope it is not a practice.
Yesterday I've tried this place out for the first time and I'm very satisfied with the food and sangria. Patatas bravas, cure meats, and Pa amb tomàquet (tomato bread) tasted just like home (Barcelona)... I'll definitely go back to try more tapas! The service was also great, Sheldon helped us chose the best drinks and food... and he even spoke in Catalan!
It was our first time at Boca and we were so impressed with everything from the waiter’s advice to the wine, and of course the delicious food, it was super. The added bonus was the young MUN Music student playing Spanish guitar it just finished the atmosphere perfectly. We’ll definitely be repeat customers!
Boca was what it has always been: A nice restaurant with, a decent ambiance. We used to go there with a couple of dance groups. It is a place I take friends I like: Not to impress them but to have a pleasant break in a place that does not have a cafeteria air about it.

I’ve been twice and both times the food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Laura, our server, was very helpful and attentive and both owners were on the floor greeting guests and helping things run smoothly. Reserve a table if you want a table on weekends!
My friend and I have been waiting weeks to try this spot and we were not disappointed. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the staff were perfect! We will definitely be back. Shout out to Sheldon who suggested food and drink, he is great!
