Went to Besito for brunch during my birthday weekend. They were very accommodating when making the reservation. Originally, I had about 15 people and they offered a private room with no additional cost or need to do a prix fixe. The restaurant is spacious. The day of the number reduced to 8 people and they had a large table for us in the general dining area. It was a Sunday and they had a 2 for 1 margarita special. My friend and I came and asked for a table outside. The Maitre d' looked at us as if it were a bizarre request and scanned all tables before you cleared us on the only free table outside. Got the menus and was shocked by the prices at first glance. We decided to order fish tacos, fried plantain and chicken nchiladas. The fish tacos were beautiful and crispy and a good part for a starter, the fried 'Plantain' was really roasted banana, so it was much more of a dessert than an appetizer. I absolutely love this authentic Mexican restaurant in Port Washington. It's situated in a lovely neighborhood with ample private parking, and the place is impeccably clean. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. In addition to the amazing dishes they serve, don’t miss out on their extensive selection of tequilas (for those of legal drinking age, of course). Since today is National Tequila Day, we celebrated at one of our favorite places, Besito in Roslyn, by enjoying their Sunday specials! From 12 to 3, they offered 2-for-1 margaritas, along with a special tequila flight, delicious sides, and churros. We sat in the bar area and received excellent service from Oscar and the team, all in a cozy atmosphere. We're definitely coming back!
