Besito Mexican Roslyn

My husband and I haven’t been to Besito in years, so I surprised him with a date night there! It was such a nice dinner! The restaurant was pretty full, but somehow it wasn’t super noisy and we could hear the salsa music playing in the background. The service was EXCELLENT — friendly staff, lots of smiles, and the food came out quickly. We had the iron skillet tacos (mine was steak and my husband’s was mixto). Delicious! We also had the sweet plantains and yuca fries, which were excellent. And the white sangria — YUM!!!! And let’s not forget the guac and chips — so fresh and really good! Overall, 10/10. We’ll definitely be back!

Finally got to have the Sonora Ribs. Not only were they presented beautifully, they were aromatic and cooked to perfection. Every bite was a new sensation of flavor. I've never had better ribs. So much meat, tender to the point of sliding off the bone. You might be tempted to bathe in the agave, chipotle lime glazed cilantro. This was a work of art that will leave you very satisfied yet still wanting more and looking forward to your next visit for more. Besito never disappoints. The Guacamole was super tasty as well whether it's your first time or your hundredth, try the ribs!!!

The food is not as good as it use to be. The guacamole was on the bland side. It needed more lemon or lime and some salt. The queso fundido was also bland and stringy, not creamy at all. The filet mignon was dry And over cooked. This use to be a favorite. We were definitely disappointed The bill with tip was over $230. Food should be great for that price !

Food is not great. Drinks are ok could be more flavorful. But ambiance is wonderful. This is the only reason why I still continue to dine here.

This restaurant has become a favorite among my family. We find ourselves returning time and time again.
