Last Friday, we went to Beverly's to celebrate and ordered a shared appetizer, two cocktails, a bottle of wine, and an entree each. Unfortunately, soon after the meal, my partner experienced severe stomach flu symptoms for the next twenty-four hours. He had a high fever, was unable to sleep, couldn't keep food down, and looked worse than I've ever seen him. We ended up incurring medical expenses for treatment and medication. The only dish that could have made him sick was the red snapper he ordered, as we shared everything else and I felt fine. Second time enjoying brunch here and love everything about this place. So beautiful and well decorated. Perfect balance of luxury but comfortable/relaxed/warm/inviting. Service was excellent and food was as well. Got the burger the first time. Got the caviar latkes both times (got a second order this time around because they are just so damn good. The quiche was really phenomenal, full of mushrooms, perfectly cooked, great crust. Not something I typically order but I asked the server what he really liked at the moment and that was one of his recs. I will continuously defend that the fact that Beverley’s has the best espresso martini in Dallas! Their other cocktails besides the espresso martini are sublime, especially when you have them with my all-time favorite item on the food menu, the caviar latkes. Besides the food drinks, the staff are attentive patient! This place is perfect for either brunch or dinner, but I enjoy coming here for brunch, especially sitting on the patio when the whether is nice. It is perfect for all occasions—solo dates, date night, girl’s brunch/night, etc. This is one of my favorite places in Dallas.
Beverly's is a class act from the greet to the farewell. Great indoor space with a beautiful bar and a great private patio. Staff looks sharp and has a professional, accommodating demeanor that is rare these days considering labor pool challenges. Where else can you go and get greeted by the owner, who also owns Clifton Club next door. Patrick the bartender is as good as it gets with friendly service and serious cocktail skills. Sorry I waited so long. Truly amazing place with excellent service, knowledgeable waitstaff and extraordinary food. Stetson was up to the task of our discerning expectations. The food was better than I hoped for. Moving this right into our 10-day rotation. Great Caesar, the best meatballs in town, terrific cheeseburger and lamb chops to die for. Oh…..very reasonable prices.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience! It was a bit noisy, but not enough to be bothersome. The appetizers were outstanding, while the main dishes were very good, though they could have used a touch more seasoning. The drinks were inventive and delicious. I will definitely return!
Everything was incredible here. The food was terrific, the drinks were so good, and the atmosphere was great. Not only was Ariana knowledgeable about the entire menu she was also funny, kind, and attentive. I will definitely come back and ask to be seated in Ariana’s section.
