Good food and service. My husband and I tried Beyond Thai for an early dinner before a Water Polo game. Service was decent, not great but not bad. They seemed to pay a significant amount of time at the two other tables (3 sets of customers total in the restaurant) of familiar customers and would occasionally come check in with us. We ordered the Chicken Satay, Beyond Pad Thai (with glass noodles and shrimp), and Yellow Curry (requested to be mild in heat level). The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Satay was cooked perfectly. The Beyond Pad Thai was super flavorful and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. My husband enjoyed every drop of the Yellow Curry, and was also super happy the chef was able to make it mild for him. Overall great experience. Thank you!
PAD KEE MAO NOODLES (LEVEL 1 spice): Unfortunately, I had forgotten how much heat they bring here. I have GERD so I have to do light spice or no spice. Moving forward here I will have to do no spice, regrettably. It 's a me problem, not a them problem. It is what it is. The dish was quite tasty but I had to eat it over 5 days due to the spice aggravating my condition. I won 't make the same mistake next time hopefully since I look over my past reviews before ordering.
We had my SIL birthday dinner on Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and the wait staff was awesome! We ordered several appetizers then meals. We believe my mom's drunken noodles (Dn) was a 2 (she ordered a 1) on the hot scale but mine DN was a 1 hot and delicious. I had enough for three meals. We had a nice birthday dinner.
My girlfriend and I have been to this restaurant a few times and let me tell you the menu is way too expensive and the service is terrible. Phuket Thai in Huntington Beach is so much better! Phuket Thai in Huntington Beach Has a better menu , And the prices are much better.
