This review is purely on the service. Charging eftpos surcharge is illegal.they take advantage of people not to mention they have a minimum spend which is fine but then you illegally charge a surcharge fee. Very disappointing for a local business. The food is great but that will be the last time I shop. Oh and changing 30 cents for sauce on a $7 pie is ridiculous.
$10 Banh Mi is reasonable but they are very stingy on the meat, they charge you $2 for extra meat and then put less meat on than they did in the first place. Also barely any coriander and chilli isnt even hot. Terrible Banh Mi to be honest, flavourless. Phuoc Tranh in Richmond is way better, best in Melbourne. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $1–20
They have some people working here now who are not making the bahn mi properly, my last roll was very flavourless and dry, could hardly finish it. Used to be 4 stars, now 2 stars.
My favourite tofu banh mi in the neighbourhood. Fresh roll. Heaps of veggies and tofu. Plus all the flavours! Love it, thank you : Réservez une table maintenant
