I ordered the vegan pupusa and was surprised to see it was over $13 for just one. Normally I would order two pupusas for a meal. It was large and pretty filling but the inside could have been more. I wish they added avocado to the filling as it was just plantains and beans. I enjoyed the taste though, especially with the vegan dipping sauce that comes with it. They could easily have more vegan options on the menu, such as a plantain side or app. TLDR; fine omni option but don’t go out of your way for the vegan options.
Excellent ? especially for those of us who are gluten free! I?ve come here twice for the signature arepas and they are so flavorful and fun! I?d never had Venezuelan food prior to this, so if you?re new and curious I can share that arepas areburritoesqe?.but gluten free and they feel way more luxurious. The ingredients here are so fresh and that makes such adifference. And to top it off, the staff is very friendly and I feel very at home and welcome here. Highest recommendation forthis place!!
Great authentic restaurant serving Venezuelan food. Arepas are great, empanadas too. But holy moly...let's talk about their almond cake with ice cream dessert!!!! Absolute highlight of the evening. We were making noises of delight with eachspoonful...yummmm yummmm..mmmm....So amazing and well presented! Great attentive staff, outdoor eating as well as inside. I willdefinitely be back!
