Big Dean's Oceanfront Cafe

Absolutely the best tasting burger I’ve had in a long time. Visited the pier and went in on a recommendation from another out of state couple. Great ambience and energy and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly if they were from the South. If I’m ever back this way again, I’m definitely coming back.

Nice RECOMMENDATIONS! Super friendly staff. The food was great, also a good choice of choices. Location hard to beat right at the end of the pier and great views. And shockingly reasonable in pricing, especially given the situation. Large beers from local breweries. Great choice for lunch or dinner.

This place was a pleasant surprise. I have been to so many places in Santa Monica. The prices were great. The food was delicious. We had our son with us. It seems like a place to come back and hang out in the bar area. I loved the clam chowder. The guys liked the Big Deans burger.

Girls trip from Salt Lake City to Santa Monica. Ran into this gem while lookin for a good drink and good times. Did not disappoint, drinks and food was delicious and so were the staff. Definitely a memorable part of our trip! If you guys are ever in Utah, breakfast is on us!

I've been going to Dean's for at least five years. Doesn't matter if it's busy or not the staff manages to take care of everyone. Great beach food, chicken tacos, fish tacos, and burgers are my favorites. Prices are amazing considering the location.

Delicious burgers!! ?? Really enjoyed the ambiance; staff was really nice and attentive too. Not to mention the great large cup sizes they have for the beer! (Just wish it wasn?t plastic cups). I will definitely be coming back again! ?

Sat back at home in rainy England dreaming of a return trip to visit Big Dean's Café and have a bowl of their amazing chowder and have a joke with the best waiters in town! Thanks for making us feel so welcome :

Great place for lunch while enjoying Santa Monica Pier and Muscle Beach. Awesome Burgers and Corn Dog's. Festive ambiance. Reminds me of being at Dukes while enjoying Wiakiki ..
