They're known for their spicy fusilli pasta with vodka sauce, and I can definitely see why! That was our favorite dish, super flavorful and subtly spicy. The other pasta however wasn't as good. I forgot exactly what it was called on the menu but it was basically a fettuccine Alfredo with verde pasta our waiter told us it was arugula flavored. Nice, casual Italian eatery on San Vicente Blvd. in Brentwood. We ordered a ricotta honey bruschetta appetizer, the LA Woman pizza and a homemade pasta and all were tasty. We ended with the chocolate caramel sea salt budino. Plenty for two people and not too sweet. Clean and modern place. Gem Lettuce Salad delicious salad, has a little kick but not over powering. Bronx Bomber Pizza pizza has a lot of flavor, had to control myself and not eat so much of it. Marinara Meatball it was good, maybe decent, it just was not amazing. Just a meatball and break was greasey. Mozzarella sticks were great, probably our favorite dish. I'm quite impressed with this restaurant. I tried the Gladiator pie, with sausage, bacon, pepperoni and ham. Very smoky flavor. Good dough, nice scortch, well made pie. Best NYC pizza I've had in Los Angeles since Grimaldi's. I would place it in my Tier 1 list (see profile). The calamari is from Rhode Island. That's the finest squid available in the US. It's also more expensive to buy. They make a good decision since it's a far superior product. I have to admit that I found it a bit odd they provided mayo instead of tartar sauce but the marinara was nice and spicy. Tom our waiter and the rest of the staff was very nice. I would recommend bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt.
They charge a 15% Service fee , but they do not give that to the server. When a customer thinks gratuity is already included, they don 't leave the server an appropriate tip.The owners are refusing to raise their prices and are instead cutting their employee pay.This is deceitful and immoral.Enjoy the class-action lawsuit and I will enjoy the restaurant that replaces you when you go bankrupt.
For some reason, even though. number of guests pleaded with managers and servers to turn the AC down or off, we moved tables to get warmer, but still froze. That said — brace yourself for quantity. The portions are vast, so plan to share or take home. Food was generally delicious — everyone in our group of four was pleased. Terrific family vibe, and very informal.

I went for my birthday dinner and it was lovely. Everyone had amazing food, service was great, food was beyond. I come a lot but this time stook out. It was perfect. Highly reccomend!
