Has there been a change in ownership? I've noticed some recent negative reviews. I ordered a sandwich twice, but both times I received a sub instead. When I called to address this issue, I was told there was no difference except for the toppings. Additionally, my 'sandwich' was burnt on both sides of the bun, and the melted cheese was also blackened. I wish I could share a picture! The manager was incredibly rude; she insisted it wasn’t burned and then hung up on me. Her response was completely unwarranted, especially since I remained polite. I called back hoping to speak with the owner, but I was hung up on again. It’s clear that we won’t be returning, which is unfortunate.
I highly recommend Big John's Pizza. I've been a patron since the 1970s, when the Miller family owned it. After they sold the restaurant, it lost its charm and changed drastically. Fortunately, it's now under new ownership, and they've revived the original Big John's Pizza recipe, crust included. For those of us who grew up hanging out at Big John's during our high school years, it's time to revisit and relive those delicious memories. This is truly the best pizza in town! Huge thanks to the new owners for bringing back the original pizza and subs with a fresh, modern twist. Wishing them all the best!
We ordered a 16-inch pizza to share with my elderly relatives, but we ended up waiting 45 minutes for it. When I went to pick it up, they had mistakenly made a 12-inch pizza instead. Amy assured me that she would prepare another pizza, but the 16-inch we originally ordered never arrived. I then decided to order a second 12-inch pizza. After waiting an additional 29 minutes, I finally received the freshly baked 12-inch pizza alongside the first one, which had already cooled down by that point.

I had an excellent experience with my first Big John's pizza. My husband chose his favorite toppings on one half, while I ordered a Hawaiian pizza with chicken instead of ham. I was hoping for grilled chicken since I'm on Weight Watchers, but it came with fried chicken slices. It was delicious, though not as low in WW points as I had anticipated. We'll definitely be back!
I just had the shrimp dinner and a salad, and both were excellent! The salad was fresh and crisp, while the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The fries were still hot as well. The pizzas are consistently topped generously, and I absolutely love the thin crust they use.
I absolutely love their pizza, and the tater tots are a favorite with the kids! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic!
Fantastic food! We loved everything we ordered! We had pizza, the monster sub, and some sides, and each dish was delicious!

I really enjoy the crispy crust and the fresh mushrooms, but the bacon is definitely the highlight!
