Overall, this restaurant was a major disappointment. The atmosphere felt like a tacky, all-inclusive Mexican venue with bright lighting and a large TV displaying a fake fireplace scene. There was only one server for the entire restaurant who was rude to customers and yelled at the kitchen staff. Water was not refilled and second drinks were not offered. The food was mediocre at best, with my salmon being bland and the vegetable medley underneath being cold and not matching the menu descriptions. The rack of lamb was overcooked and the grilled octopus did not seem fresh. The owners, an older couple in track suits, were serving dishes and the chef offered to reheat my meal, but it wasn't worth...
We had an excellent time. It was our first experience and we will definitely be back. I’m surprised more people weren’t there but it actually made it more enjoyable because we were able to talk with the majority of the staff. It’s a family operation and they’re all very kind, generous and passionate people. They made us feel very welcome and also helped our young girls to feel special by including them in the holiday festivities upstairs. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
This was my second visit to the restaurant and unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations like the first visit. There was a lot of noise from moving chairs around in the upstairs event room, which was distracting. The service was not as prompt and not as professional as my first visit. While the food was good, it arrived lukewarm. Overall, I was not completely satisfied and I probably won't be returning for a while.
The food was enjoyable, but the overall experience was quite peculiar. It seemed like most of the staff were related, and the atmosphere felt like dining in someone's fancy living room. It wouldn't have been surprising if the chef took a break at the table next to us, playing Candy Crush loudly on his phone, while our server informed us that our food would be ready soon. The food and service were absolutely incredible! My only feedback would be: the ambiance seemed a little stale. The lights were too bright and it felt a little like a cafeteria on the inside. Maybe put up art work to make it feel a little more cozy. There was also a loud group in the corner but it wasn't too bad. The food and service were spot on.
We were greeted when we entered the restaurant. Our server was very friendly and attentive. There were a lot of food options to choose from. Our food was prepared and served in a timely manner. We all enjoyed the meals we ordered. We plan to tell our friends about your restaurant and are looking forward to returning to eat again soon.
Wonderful dining experience. Food was great. Village salad was so fresh& tasty. Would highly recommend shrimp scampi& the halubut. Our server was very friendly& helpful. Loved the entertainment too. The singer, Louise Salvador, had a beautiful voice& the jazz style made for an enjoyable evening. Would definitely go back.
