I ate a delicious New Year's Eve late lunch yesterday [12-31-2021] at Pat and Gracie's [at 340 E. Gay St. in downtown Columbus].One previous lunchtime [perhaps one year ago], I had stopped at that Pat and Gracie's [I am only occasionally in that neighborhood] hoping to be able to eat lunch there. They had been so crowded at that moment that I could barely fit into the front door so I decided to return on a less-crowded day; yesterday ended up being that less-crowded day.I had previously studied the Pat and Gracie's menu on-line and had already selected the following item: Peruvian Chicken 16.79]: whole half chicken marinated in olive oil, lime juice, garlic, cumin, paprika then oven-roasted...
here for lunch with my mother and we were not a bit disappointed! the food was delicious! we were not very hungry, but we also knew that it will be a long afternoon for us, so we ordered appetizers. we ordered their fried pickel, spinat dip, mozzarella sticks, and salat and suppe. they were all delicious and eat a lot! our waitress was amazing and often checked us and we never had an empty glass. eating was pleasantly arranged. decor was good, the bathroom were clean, and the mood was cold. I also loved the pictures in the women's room! will come back here when we are in the opposite and definitely recommend?
I ordered the Pimento cheeseburger which was good. The bun was fluffy and delicious while the burger itself was pretty standard. The fries were tasty. However, the real standout at this restaurant is their Cobb salad. They do an excellent job of both presentation and creating a delicious meal. The mozzarella sticks were large and flavorful, especially when paired with the Marinara sauce. The macaroni and cheese were also good and cheesy. Overall, the food is delicious and I will definitely return. They have a large beer selection with many local taps. The service was average.
I’ve been going to this place since they opened downtown. Generally the food is very consistent! Unfortunately this time I’m was very disappointed in the quality of food. The chicken tenders and my burger were over cooked. The guacamole that was on my burger was brown. Also the fries use to be homemade and now they’re using frozen fries with no flavor. I’m in no hurry to go back which sucks because I really enjoy their food but now I’m not sure I’ll return. The homemade fries were the best and now they don’t have them!?? I recently visited this restaurant for the first time and I can't wait to return. The Rattlesnake pasta was delicious and the Mary drink was made without any premixed ingredients, just as I asked for. The Caprese chicken sandwich was also excellent. The deciding factor for me? The fries. If the fries are good, I'll definitely be returning, and in this case, I will be. Additionally, I found the pictures of women in the ladies' room to be cute.
I love this place. I and my friend come almost every week here, try cucumber martini it is one of the best drinks of all time and the steak is amazing! hands better than steak houses in columbus. tamara is the most amazing person who works here she is spectacular! as I said I love this place and I love tamara! oh and the huge chocolate cake is actually giant and delicious
