Typical BBQ joint that serves daily blue plate specials. I had the chicken tips over rice with two vegetables. Not overly seasoned but plenty of taste. The wait staff was on the spot and friendly but not too friendly. The only bad thing was the meal was so big that I didn't have room for dessert. I will definitely be stopping by the next time I'm in the area. Food: 5

This is a great stop for lunch. Quick eats on the go. I had the country steak and gravy. It was well seasoned, and there was too much food to go back to work comfortably. But that's not a bad thing. While driving around the Charlotte area, I’m always on the look out for down home country cooking. The staff was nice and attentive. Atmosphere is laid back and approachable. The food came out quick and was very tasty. I ordered the chicken dumplings. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
