I went to the Birch Tree Café in search of some good food I could eat while at the beach for the weekend. I was so pleasantly surprised by the cute atmosphere of the café and fell in love with the awesome food! 5 stars from me I had the BLT on Friday, bought a pack of pumpkin/pecan muffins and 2 brownies and had the chickpea salad sandwich on Saturday along with a cupcake. The sandwiches were full of flavor and the brownies were great. I tried the homemade gluten-free, dairy-free muffins and bread while I was on vacation a couple of weeks ago. They were so delicious that I can't stop fantasizing about them. They were moist, flavorful, and not too sweet, unlike most gluten-free, dairy-free baked goods I have tried. I have been coming to the market that this cafe is located in (Good Earth Market) since it first started, and I love it. When the Birth Tree Cafe opened, I was thrilled to be able to enjoy fresh-baked treats like muffins and breads without all the ingredients that I'm allergic to! Oh my god, I'm in love. I have a gluten allergy. I got the chicken salad sandwich and the chocolate brownie with an ice coffee with almond milk. Can I just say, this place is the best! The sandwich was delicious, served with fresh fruit that had great flavor. This is in all honesty the first time I had a gluten free bread that didn't fall apart. Absolutely great, wonderful welcoming women here. Love this place, definitely coming back. P.s. they are dairy free friendly too!
This place is a hidden gem. I had a mix of vegetables, potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, squash, onions, mushrooms, and beets. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. The beets were to die for. I ended the meal with the peanut butter pie and vanilla ice cream. It was the creamiest, smoothest delicious peanut butter pie that I ever ate. I highly recommend eating here.
