Birchgrove Baking - Réservation de table

We stopped by off recommendation. All of their treats were made that morning which was obvious based on how fresh everything looked. I requested they cut up some treats into smaller portions to hand out. They boxed everything up for me including a cake for my son. He was very impressed by how delicious it was. I will absolutely be returning.

Superb small selection of baked goods, served by nice people. The chocolate croissants are the best we've ever had, the brownies are luscious... The selection is small (limited number of items) but whoever is the baker at Birchgrove is world-class quality. If you want the best, go here!

I always plan to go in for just a coffee and leave with a box of goodies. My favorites are the brown butter donuts (only on Sundays) and the multitude of croissants. Also a huge fan of the cake library. Easily the best bakery in central Vermont. I just wish it was bigger!

I never leave reviews but am sitting here eating the almond cake and it is the BEST cake I have ever eaten. Anything I get there is amazing and I am always impressed by the selection. On top of it, everyone that works there is a sweetheart. Thank you Birchgrove!! Réservez une table maintenant

Hands down my favorite of all the places we visited in Montpelier! The ham and cheese croissant and maple ginger latte were phenomenal. Lots of options, friendly service, and a long (but fast moving) line so you know it’s good.

Really tasty baked goods and very kind folks. It’s worth the 10-15 minute walk from the denser parts of downtown.Edit: I went back again the next day and tried more pastries. All delicious!!

The almond tea cake is so good and the ham and cheese croissant was the best I ever had. I do wish there were a few more savory options though

If you see a hazelnut chocolate chip cookie do not hesitate. It’s worth its weight in gold.
