We had a fantastic experience! The waiter was friendly, and the restaurant had a very comfortable atmosphere. The food was simple yet incredibly tasty, which is rare to find in Ottawa. They use fresh and high-quality ingredients. The only downside is that there was a bit of a wait, but it was definitely worth it. It's much better to wait for a good meal than to end up with heartburn from the mediocre food often served in Ottawa restaurants. We were a group of 5 adults and 2 kids, and everyone was completely satisfied with the meal.

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant and a must go!!! Our first time in Ottawa exploring the area and by chance found this restaurant. We LOVED it!! . We had the Pillows as an Appetizer and they were delicious! The stuffed eggplant was amazing and served in a very creative way with mascarpone and feta cheese on top! (So annoyed I didn’t take a photo! . One of the best eggplant dishes we have ever had! We paired it with a bottle of Zinfandel that really complemented the dish!! And a shout out to our server who was just the best!

This restaurant in Ottawa is one of the best! The food is authentic Balkan and the flavors are amazing. The service is fantastic, with the owners always there to chat, provide good suggestions, or simply welcome you warmly. They recently introduced a new dish, Cornbread Chicken Casserole (see attached photo), and the quality of it is hard to describe. I highly recommend this place!

Fantastic place. Best mediterannean food in town, and great selection of authentic Balkan cuisine. Great prices, most importantly very high quality food and presentation. The tastes are exquisite. Atmosphere is great, nice shaded patio in the summer, and very warm welcoming service! Equally great indoor and outdoor. Hands down the best place in town! Can't wait to go back

This restaurant is a hidden gem in the Byward Market. The atmosphere is great and the staff are very attentive. The chicken parmigiana was juicy and the pasta sauce was delicious. The pizzas are also very tasty, and surprisingly, even the salad was delicious.
