when they watched diners drive-ins and dives, they might have been looking forward to a dining room. unfortunately it is now a load attached to the take-out. I actually ordered curbside how that's all I saw. a fried chicken shell and a brisket shell....The brisket bowl has two delicious brisket slices, yes only two! the tasty **** drowned in maple syrup, I think was about 3 ounces of protein. both bowls were supplemented by abundant amounts of cole Slav, brussel sprouts, kale and minikartoffeln all coated in a splashy sauce that none of us enjoyed. we finished pitching the Veggie Colik. I have written about Meat Press in the past and have been back four times in three weeks. They finally had a burger on the menu and it is gorgeous, medium rare ,house sauce, fried cheese curds and iceberg lettuce , in house bun ...one of the regions best, I had two over two weeks and they did not disappoint. Next up was the Saturday only beef brisket superb, get there early because they were sold out by 12:45, as good as Meatings in Orleans.The most recent lunch was the sublime slow roasted land sandwich with five different cuts of lamb off the hook. Meat Press continues to elevate the food scene in town and the staff love what they are doing. Won’t be long to all the hipsters invade the pla...
I hate to post this review, because I don’t want to attract more people to vie for my seat at one of my favourite restaurants. But Meat Press deserves crowds and prosperity. It serves fabulous smoked duck, excellent aged steak, and the best smoked meat...I have ever eaten—and I eat it everywhere. Terrific fries, and a Brussels sprout Caesar salad that is a revelation. The kitchen is small, and when there’s a crowd for lunch, service can be slow. But the competition for a table and wait for your food is eminently worth it. There is a fine selection of wines, beers, and pops ! . Altogether a great place to eat.
on the search for something roman to lunch on Friday led us meat press. we had the luck to get there shortly before midday and there were several seats. we ordered and packed a small table in front of a big baptism customer. this. place is popular! my wife ordered the Cuban bowl with potatoes and bruise sprouts while I ordered the smoked meat sandwich. next time. I'm going to the bowl. both meal times were excellently stacked with meat, and more than enough! we did not try the local soda or craft beer, but the free water was just the right one to lunch. will definitiw back
some friends (food) recommended the meat press and we were not disapointed. a perfect lunch. we shared a very good Charcuterie board and a montreal smoked meat sandwich with beside orders of kale and Brussel sperm and a meat press fret. all excellent. with a beer and a coffee, her accountant is not annoyed.
