Our experience at BJ’s Brewhouse was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We arrived with a group of seven and were told there was no table available for our size, with a wait time of 30-40 minutes. We agreed to wait and were seated after only 15 minutes, but they squeezed all seven of us at a table meant for four—an early sign of things to come. Our waitress took our drink order and then our food order: a medium pizza, a burger, three kids’ pizzas, and kids’ burgers. Worst service ever… had to ask after 15 min for our drinks. ordered salad with no tomatoes, salad came out with tomatoes. Had to ask for our waters again.. our food came out cold and soggy, manager had the whole table remade.. One of the worst dining experiences ever. I arrived at the door at 4:30 p.m. I stood at the hostess stand for several minutes after watching a waitress walk through the bar area and not even acknowledge me or send anyone to acknowledge/greet me. After 10-12 minutes a waitress finally approached and said I could find a seat at the bar. I then sat there for over 10 minutes before I flagged down a waitress. My tomato mozzarella salad was the saddest thing I have seen come from BJs. I ordered delivery so I could not show the restaurant how ridiculous my poor salad is. A BUNCH of greens, five little cheese balls and a quartered tomato…maybe 8 pieces of itty bitty diced red onion. So pitiful. I thought I ordered a Tomato Mozzarella salad which used to be barely any greens and lots of cheese and tomatoes. I asked for extra dressing and got two different types. Come on BJs!! We ordered a kids' plate for the little ones, which came with mac and cheese, smiley fries, and chocolate milk. The portion was just right for our two toddlers to share, and the smiley fries were a huge hit!
For the adults, we tried a margarita sampler featuring four different fruity flavors, along with a really good IPA (though I can't recall its name). We kicked things off with the delicious avocado egg rolls, and for our main course, we had spicy chicken noodles with nuts. The dish was packed with flavor, delivering the perfect balance of spice and crunch. Overall, this experience definitely deserves a five-star rating!
I'm conflicted about Bj's Brewhouse. I really wanted to enjoy my experience there. Although the menu was limited, that wasn’t a big issue. The restaurant wasn’t very clean, which was a bit off-putting. The waitstaff were friendly but tended to disappear at times. The food was excellent—we tried a few mini pizzas and the kids’ tenders. Overall, we found ourselves waiting a long time for the bill and had to ask a staff member to bring it so we could skip dessert. As I mentioned, I really wanted to like this place.
The red velvet pizookie was absolutely divine, and the French vanilla ice cream was the perfect finishing touch. Both desserts were incredibly sweet and delicious. I also appreciated the way the ice cream was packaged. The strawberry lemonade was fantastic—just make sure to shake it well before enjoying. The Alfredo was quite good as well, but I have a suggestion: adding Cajun chicken to your menu would be amazing!

The boneless wings were just plain chicken nuggets without the dry rub, and they forgot my side dish. To make matters worse, there were paper strips in my pita tacos for no apparent reason. It was disappointing and unappetizing.
