I endulged in the scooby delicacy and it didn't dissapoint, £4 is the average price to pay for such a treat these days so I just want to say thank you for keeping your prices affordable and for providing great quality treats for the local community. Keep it up guys PS Whoever invented the scooby please give them my upmost gratitude for it has helped me through some really though times. Blacks of Dunoon remains the only place you can find a scooby therefore I tend to go into a deep mode of depression when you can't provide me with such a treat lots of love Scooby Doo

We both visited this extremely busy bakers while visiting the local area, the shop itself appeared to be very clean and popular with the locals, the pies were tasty and well seasoned, the cakes were delicious, we both would have no problem in recommending this establishment to anyone.

We went to this restaurant twice during our stay, and the food choices were excellent. The coffee was great and the staff were brilliant. The scones were also exceptional. All safety measures were observed and the toilets were very clean. I would definitely recommend this place.

After getting off the ferry and feeling hungry for lunch, we had a delicious meal of toasties, cake, and coffee at an affordable price. The restaurant was very clean, followed all Covid protocols, and the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend it. Réservez une table maintenant

Bacon roll and a coffee for a fiver is good value. Coffee was nice and hot which is not always the case in cafes. Only downside was the place didint open until 8.30am on a Saturday which seems a bit late to me but then again the town isnt that busy.

I visited some years ago so was very pleased to see cafe is still there and has not changed at all. The friendliest helpful staff, comfy seating, large choice of food nicely presented and excellent value

Called in for a coffee and snack very busy but thought that the staff were working very hard but as a former retail manager i thought that could be less stress for the staff by better working pratices

On November 25th, I had lunch at Black of Dunoon. The macaroni pie, iced doughnut, and flavored water were all fantastic. The service was top-notch, the best in Dunoon.

Great coffee stop and good priced food cakes Staff always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hot food cooked to order, so always prepared fresh.
