We had dinner at Blades on Friday 10th Feb to celebrate my husbands birthday and a trip to Fulham football club. We were warmly welcomed and offered water while we looked at the menu and wine list (breadsticks on table too) I chose the beetroot, goats cheese and rocket salad which was delicious and husband had bresolata and goats cheese . …Warm bread and butter came with it . My main course spinach and ricotta tortorlina with sage butter and … husband had fillet steak with veg and potatoes. It was all delicious and we were offered bread in between too . We got chatting to Michaele when he explained the wine from Puglia which we had chosen was from the vineyard where he had lived 20 yrs ago. We ordered tiramisu which was wonderful and my husband had a birthday candle . We also met Ebru, Michaels wife who later showed us around and talked about her passion for her painting and sculpture etc . It was a delightful evening , lovely food and excellent genuine hosts .. highly recommend and will definitely be back when next in London .
