Vegan fish and chips takeaway in central Newtown. A plant based version of the classic Aussie takeaway, the food at Bliss n Chips doesn't disappoint. There are plenty of deep fried favourites and burgers available. The house made Bliss fish is a highlight of the menu. The selection is so large that it's almost hard to choose and in my experience it can occasionally slow down the kitchen or create confusion among the staff. While the range is impressive, it's a very large menu that could do with some refining. The prices are high but this is somewhat to be expected considering almost every menu item is specialised. It would be great to see some more affordable options on the menu at some poin...
Bliss and chips are great and the owner and workers are friendly and super helpful. The meal options are endless, they can do almost all of your greasy faves. So far I've tried the Pluto pup, deep fried jokers bar, butter chicken burger and the garlic prawn burger - and a bit of my friend's "egg" on his Aussie burger. Everything is filling, tasty and amazing. It maybe on the exxy side, but it's excusable considering their opening times, location, and the awesome ingredients used. Seriously worth it if you're looking to treat yourself.
Amazingly realistic vegan meat and fish options. We had calimari rings (photo and a prawn wrap. We are not vegans but would eat these alternatives with no worries. Atmosphere was friendly and there was a wide variety of treats including vegan ice cream. Only marked as 4 stars because neither plate was garnished at all, although im aware the place is more of a fast food joint. Would recommend, will probably be back. :
I didn't want to try the deep-fried "seafauxd," so I opted for the garlic prawn skewers instead. They were delicious and packed with garlic flavor. The chips were seasoned with a tasty chip spice, and the ketchup they provided was also delicious. The restaurant even put together a simple side salad for me, even though it wasn't on the menu. The prices were reasonable.

The vegan junk food here is top-notch, located perfectly in Newtown. I tried the non-fish and chips with fake prawns on a skewer, and the prawns tasted incredibly similar to the real thing. I really loved the food and the menu as a whole.
I tried the vegan imitation fish and was pleasantly surprised at how similar it tasted to the real thing. The garlic prawns were also delicious. The prices were affordable and I will definitely be returning in the future.
Simple yet scrumptious vegan food, with a huge variety of options most sinfully appetizing. With absolutely reasonable prices and a warm welcoming service, this place is definitely up for recommendations.
A massive range of vegan food. Just about anything you could imagine from a 'fish ' and chip shop and then some. The food is excellent and really tasty. Friendly staff.

Best Vegan Fish&Chips in town. Hands down. Also give their desserts a try, they are worth it!
