BLOCK HOUSE Steakrestaurant

Block House always has a pretty good standard. You can go far wrong with the steaks there, but I get the impression that they have got a bit lazy at this branch. In the high season it is almost always full, but instead of giving those who are waiting a drink (like they do at other branches) they tell you to come back in 20 minutes... And then tell you the same 20 minutes later. The service is also a bit more focused on throughout than friendliness. I'm sure their accounts department is happy, but most customers can get an equally good steak and a better experience elsewhere.

I know the Blockhaus in Frankfurt and I am a guest there for many years.The concept (its a chain of I believe around 50 restaurants in Germany and they sell their products in supermarkets is clear and its easy.Nice staff,cosy interior,a simple and clear menu.Food is always good and is perfect for if you are alone,a couple or with family and kids.So a great place to eat meat with no strange surprises. Only problem is the do not have and never had mayonaise for my french fries : But thats my problem being Dutch.So all good.

Honestly the best steak I've had in a very long time! Hostess was very accommodating despite the 20 minute wait out in the cold to be seated. 4 stars out of 5 since there was no way for quests to keep warm while waiting. I also appreciated the precautions taken because of Covid. Food was hot and arrived at the table within 10 minutes of ordering.

This is a nice place inside, where they do nice steacks and nice burgers. Prices are allright for the area, but not cheap at all. Don't expect fresh product, you can see sometimes the staff opening plastic bags with meat inside. but not bad. Réservez une table maintenant

The steaks are pretty good after all its a restaurant chain popular for steaks&side dishes! We were not very happy with the service, but to be fair it was very crowded... Prices are average (for Sylt)

you are getting the best selection of steaks you can dream of. Cooked to your orders. have been there e a few times and have always been looking forward to my next visit.

This was one of the few restaurants in Westerland that had a complete menu in English. The food was good but slightly overpriced. It as busy, but the service was good.

Good quality steak restaurant. Always busy which I take as a good sign. Good service even when busy. I would suggest reserving a table in advance. Réservez une table maintenant

I am here several times for business dinner with employees and all really enjoyed the steaks. it is indescribable delicious!

We had the steak, which wasn't great. For the prices we expected more. It was also very loud. I won't return.
