BLT Steak Restaurant

We loved our meal only disappointment was we had sent a request to the restaurant (via Open Table) that it was a birthday celebration (which the restaurant responded and said they’d take care of us) and no acknowledgement of the birthday. Not the end of the world, as we loved the food but kind of a bummer.

August in DC can be a good time to check out high-end restaurants that would normally be packed. Such is the case with BLT Steak. Great service, great food (beef and their popovers are to die for) and a reservation that was easy to get. Outstanding cocktails too.

Our server, Saron, was delightful. She made the entire evening (our anniversary) easy and special and just about perfect. I highly recommend BLT in DC if you are able to get her as your waitress.

The staff was wonderful and attentive. We had the oysters and I had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. The truffle mashed potatoes were amazing!
