Blue Chilli Thai - Réservation de table

I have visited this restaurant several times for their excellent takeout, and decided to eat in on a Wednesday evening for the second time. The restaurant was empty when I arrived, but quickly filled up. I enjoyed hearing Thai music playing, unlike another restaurant in London that played The Carpenters on the panpipes. I had Singha beer, Thai prawn crackers, Thai fish cakes, and a crispy roasted duck curry with crispy noodles, all of which had delicious flavors. I finished my meal with chocolate ice cream and a non-Thai Irish coffee. The only criticism I have is that the Irish coffee was not made properly.

I have visited this restaurant for lunch several times and always choose the lunch menu, which includes a starter and main for £9.95, and it is definitely worth it. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the food is fantastic, and even my picky husband enjoys it here. I particularly enjoy the tempura prawns for my starter and the hot basil leaves curry for the main - it is spicy but full of flavor, served with sticky rice that I surprisingly enjoy. I highly recommend this place, and the banana dessert is simply amazing.

My boyfriend and I have visited this restaurant numerous times for their lunch set menus, and they have always been wonderful. However, we recently decided to try their dinner menu and it was a disappointing experience. My pad Thai dish lacked flavor and was quite average, especially considering the price. I even had to ask for a salt mill, which is not something you would expect at a Thai restaurant. The platter for two was decent, but overall, I would recommend going for lunch instead of dinner.

This restaurant serves the best Thai food I have tasted in years. The service was excellent, and I dined in for dinner. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. The food and service both received a rating of 5, while the atmosphere was rated a 4. I highly recommend this place for vegetarians, as they offer a large selection of vegetarian dishes.
