Have visited several times before 8 PM curtains, service steady and attentive. Sushi and sashimi always fresh, seaweed salad a delight. Dining area moderately full but not noisy or smothered in music. Customers always seem appreciative and enjoying their dinners. A go-to place before Carnegie Hall.
We have always loved this place. Once they got to us, service was quick. The food drinks were very good. There are a handful of places that are better, but also more expensive. The prices are a little high for this being an everyday dining spot but always a nice special treat.
Sashido peppers weren't cooked enough, slimy. Salmon tartar wasn't tasting right. Nigiri was pretty good. This is relative to eating at their Sullivan St. location where it's always better.

Exceptional as always! I’ve been dining at Blue Ribbon Sushi for over 20 years and the quality is outstanding.
