We normally use Shek Wu in Rushden but because that was closed we decided to use Blue Sky and what a mistake that was!!!!!!!!! Ordered vegetarian spring rolls (only thing edible) , Ribs tiny little things that looked like chickens nuggets with so much batter on them , beef chow mein beef or shoe I wouldn’t know? , crispy beef but I bit into it and it was like powder I don’t even think there was beef in there to begin with!!!!!! My partner had the beef in black bean he said it was ok but only because they other dishes were so shocking!!!!!! You really need to up your game Blue Sky because we will never be coming back!!!!
Just spent £25 0n food that was only at best passable. House chow main was tasteless and the meat was fatty and chewy, spare ribs were almost inedible and the sechaun prawns didn't taste of anything at all. All in all very disappointed especially as it was a treat for my birthday. We went by previous reviews so can only assume they have changed the chef but we definately won't be ordering from here again.
Bought a take away from Blue Sky for the first time, was very impressed. Everybody in the family liked the food and none was wasted. I gave it the extra mark because it was less salty than other local take aways and dishes that were clearly cooked rather than being a bulk catering dish. Especially loved the thin hand cooked prawn crackers, miles better than the usual bulk bought rock hard chunky efforts.
Have used this takeaway for years but now not so sure. I recently ordered my standard meal at about 10pm only to receive something else, when I tried to ring to complain, no-one answered so it was either eat it or waste my cash. Golden Sunrise just up the road has much better customer service so I will use them in future until such a time as I think Blue Sky can actually be bothered..

Just had our first takeaway from Blue Sky. It was vile. The aromatic duck arrived cold and most of it was fat. We threw away the chicken in the chow mein. It looked and tasted like processed chicken. There was little egg in the dry rice. Waste of money. Never again.
Decided to try this for the first time and it was a mistake. Sweet and sour sauce tastes like tomato soup…! Never even thought that could be possible. Chicken balls taste weird. Nowhere near as good as Chinatown Cantonese takeaway in the High Street.
The food turned up stone cold and completely the wrong order, called to resolve the problem and just had abuse spat at me, please do yourself a favor and avoid .
Friendly staff, foods normally good. Nice local takeaway can’t complain! Would recommend to friends and people new to the area

Good ole blue sky never lets you down always exactly what you order never any issues good food, good prices!
The best Chinese take away in Rushden in my opinion. The food is consistently good and always piping hot.
