My husband and I visited this restaurant today and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food—it was outstanding! Since moving from New Jersey to California, this is the first Chinese restaurant that has truly impressed me with its flavors. We ordered three regular dishes to test how good they really were: the House Hainan Chicken lunch plate, black bean spare ribs, and beef chow fun. The Hainan chicken was incredibly fresh and juicy! However, all concerns vanish as soon as the food arrives. Dining at BSC is like embarking on a treasure hunt; the menu offers no descriptions, and I’m sure each dish has a Chinese name, so ordering feels like a gamble. But guess what? No matter what you choose, it will be outstanding. This place undoubtedly serves some of the best Cantonese comfort food in the Bay Area. Overall, the experience was satisfactory. The portion sizes were generous and the prices reasonable, with decent quality food. The congee was acceptable, though it didn’t have many toppings. The curry fish balls were decent, similar to the packaged ones available at Asian supermarkets. The baked pork chop rice was fine, although the sauce tasted predominantly like ketchup. The hot and sour soup had plenty of egg drops but lacked meat. However, the basil fish was quite tasty. I just wish a Cantonese restaurant would elevate the experience a bit more.

This is likely one of the best spots to enjoy Hong Kong-style cuisine. We visit regularly and have always found the staff to be extremely friendly with excellent service. It can get quite busy, so be sure to arrive early, but the wait is definitely worth it. Réservez une table maintenant

The food was fantastic, with generous portion sizes. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the beef was exceptionally tender. The vegetables and tofu were excellent as well. The new tables and blue decor made the place look even more beautiful.

Although waiting time is a little bit long, the dishes are super good and in great value!!! It deserves your waiting time. The owners are super hospitality and polite making you seem like come back home.

My Rating System 1-Star: Horrible, 2-Star: Bad, 3-Star: Average, 4-Star: Good, 5-Star: Amazing (I have yet to consider any restaurant a 5-star). Been there only once since the time of this review.
