Blue Zucchini is a charming restaurant located just off the highway that serves up delicious food. I tried the Club Sandwich, which was excellent, and the Chocolate Chess Pie was also top-notch. The interior decor is interesting and the staff were all friendly and helpful, even going so far as to help me identify a song that was playing. Our takeout order for our group of three was prepared quickly. While the prices were a bit high at around $16 per person, the portion sizes made it worth it. Overall, Blue Zucchini was a fantastic discovery that I hope to revisit next time I'm in High Point. (Visit Date: 6/28) Parking: There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant.
If you enjoy a cozy atmosphere, then this is the perfect spot for you! The owner interacts with each guest at every table, often teasing them in a friendly manner. The service is excellent and the food is diverse and delicious. I would highly recommend trying the fried zucchini as an appetizer. Keep in mind that seating is limited, so be prepared to wait during lunch hours. The men's restroom is rated as a C - it's somewhat clean but showing signs of age with a sticky floor. Despite that, overall it was a great experience and I definitely plan on returning!
The fried Zucchini was excellent. However my club sandwich seemed to be an afterthought. There was maybe 1/2 a strip of bacon. The large thick slice of tomato made up more of the sandwich than the other ingredients. The sandwich was more like a tomato sandwich with a little turkey and ham. Overall not impressed with the cost of the sandwich being 12.95. It didn’t look near as impressive as their photo on their website.
Blue Zucchini is so cute on the inside! And they have very hospitable staff. I ordered a salad, so I will be going back again. I ordered my husband a cowboy burger to go, he said he didn't like it because it wasn't seasoned enough but he did eat the food hours later. Réservez une table maintenant
