This is one of our favorite vegan places. They have won best vegan cheesesteak and best vegan pizza in Philly. This time my wife got the cliff hanger a mushroom based cheesteak and I got the Jumbo jet which is an enormous roast beef sandwich with a creamy horseradish sauce and as jus. so freaking good. We got some milkshakes that were amazing, and my wife always gets the Sea Serpent to go, which is an Italian hoagie. the best we 've had.
We have visited On the Way Vegan multiple times and they consistently make delicious pizzas and have the best fries. The menu offers a great variety of vegan options. The atmosphere in the kitchen is unique, with a down-to-earth or maybe slightly chaotic vibe. However, we had a few missing items in our takeout order that we didn't notice until we got home, which is why I can't give them a perfect rating.
Food was delicious! Fun place to eat! The owners are so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied! Ordered funnel cake and they ran out of batter for a full order so they gave us free fried Oreos and a cannoli. So many choices and all vegan! Best red sauce I’ve ever had! Will definitely eat there again, love supporting a vegan, family owned restaurant!Vegetarian options: 100% vegan!
Angels created this place! I grew up going to the boardwalk, so going vegan was tough for me, especially when I went to the boardwalk as an adult. I'm so happy I found this place. I ordered wings, some sort of cheese-filled bread (I forget what it was called), and funnel cake and I was not disappointed! I wish I lived closer to it so I could go more often. Boardwalk Vegan offers some of the best pizza in the world. The flavors are elevated, reminiscent of dominos, and the vegan cheese provides a unique and delicious experience. While vegan cheese can sometimes be disappointing, this restaurant has found the perfect balance. The entire menu is vegan, including options for vegan coffee creamer and raw sugar packets! The food was delicious and fulfilled all my comfort food cravings. It was similar to eating at a greasy boardwalk spot, but much healthier. The customer service was great, and I will definitely be returning to this charming little restaurant!
We had a great time dining at this restaurant. The menu was extensive and we were a party of 4 adults and 3 children in a cozy setting. The staff was attentive and accommodating.
