I 've already reviewed this restaurant, and I added the original listing right after it opened (the correct name is Jimmy Buffett 's Margaritaville Restaurant not the shortened version the current listing shows), but it 's been erased for some reason. And it didn 't have very many good reviews suspicious that the listing was removed. Could people not get the name right or what? It 's on the sign and napkins. Anyway, onto my updated review. Margaritaville is your average tourist site, but boy does it suck you in! There is a branch off the regular casino. When you enter, there are signs PERFECT photo-ops! every which way. The casino is all beach themed. The carpet is designed, the chairs are a peach color adorned with palm trees, and the employees are all seemingly very happy to be there. There is a restaurant off to your left along with the bar, and if you walk down towards the end, there is even a gift shop! They sell postcards 1.95$ shotglasses 6$ hats $40 and so much more! My husband surprised me with a quick getaway for my birthday, and we decided to stay at River Spirits, a place we had never visited before. We arrived just in time to enjoy some live music and an appetizer. The venue was quite calm, and the service was excellent. Brenda really went above and beyond for us, giving us a brief tour and providing top-notch service. She let us know that her shift was ending, and we expressed our thanks. Came to the restaurant at 1108, still had the closed sign on. Had to ask someone in the store when they open and they said 11. Went back out so we could be seated...no one came. Finally a waiter waved us to come in, so we had to grab our own menus from the counter and find our own seat. You would think that with the 10 employees that are just standing around in a group by the bar, laughing and joking around like a bunch of high schoolers, they would have someone come and seat us. We have been here once before and the experience was pretty good so we wanted to come back for lunch and have some fun in the casino. But unfortunately today's service sucked.

Well, I had already written a review for here but for some reason Yelp has taken all the other reviews down and changed the listing. We went back here again because we had a $30 food voucher. Over all our waitress was MIA. We ordered volcano nachos to share. They came out cold, soggy and stale. Not to mention after you get through the top layer it's just a big bowl of dry chips. We also split the burger which was overly salty and over cooked for what we ordered. The fries were decent though. Bottom line the food is over priced, service is sub par and the portions are large but not great.
Oh what a night! We decided to dine before a concert at the casino. I got a Bahama Mama and hubby a beer. They were good as was the coconut shrimp we ordered and shared. Nothing was stand out amazing. All was good but the birds did not sing. So why a 4 you ask? We waited 30 minutes for a table, the waitress tried to read our mind and annoyingly kept telling us what we wanted to which we'd respond no we want (fill in the blank). The scenery is a 5 if you are a boat and beach type decor. I love the pontoon boat. I'd like to have it on Grand.
Wow, what a disappointment! Jimmy Buffet's restaurant has really declined. The volcano isn't working, and they only play Jimmy Buffet songs every fourth tune. What happened to the vibe? The food is still good, but it's frustrating... Make sure to check if the volcano is fixed before bringing a group for what used to be a once-in-a-lifetime dining experience. (September 4, 2023)
Great service,food and drinks! I was leery because they are quite pricey but the portions quality are well worth it. My margerita was scrumptious!! Buffalo wings were fresh, tasty not too hot. Fish chips were surprisingly good too, especially with their tartar sauce mmm..... we will definitely be back to try their Volcano Nachos.

The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and attentive service. There are plenty of options on the menu, and while the food isn't extraordinary, it's solid bar fare. We tried the nachos, which were tasty, and the club sandwich was enormous—definitely too big to eat comfortably. We'll definitely return!
Cool atmosphere. Wish it was a little more closed off from the casino as if you sit by the bar you feel like your sitting in the bar line from the casino. Staff was friendly and food was good.
