My co-worker and I went to Bob Evans for lunch the other day. We haven't gone there in a while. Probably before the pandemic. Hot damn did it get expensive. $15+ including a 20% tip. I'm sorry. I think that's a little crazy for breakfast. The biscuits are beyond salty. Restaurants clearly don't take into consideration that there are people with high blood pressure or kidney disease. Nope, will pass on Bob Evans. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I had a truly disappointing experience due to the service. I asked for coffee three times, yet the waitress only brought drinks to everyone else. Eventually, I decided to get my own coffee. The manager, Antoinette, eventually came over to apologize for the waitress's rudeness and took over our table, expressing concern that the original waitress might tamper with our food. It was quite concerning. Food: 4, Service: 1, Atmosphere: 3.
I won't be returning. None of my group finished their meals, and we only saw our server three times: to take our order, deliver our food, and bring the check. Each interaction was unpleasant. The food was below average, served cold, and prepared incorrectly, even though we ordered directly from the menu without any modifications. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 2, and the atmosphere a 2.
Antoinette and staff were Amazing!!! Visited a Sat in Oct @2p with 30+ family members. The staff's service was swift, and with a smile. Appreciate you all, from the cooks to the servers!!! Great food and outstanding service! I dined in for lunch and found the price per person to be between $10 and $20. The food was a perfect 5, the service was also a 5, and the atmosphere rated a solid 5 too. Highly recommend!
I'm still living in the past when Bob Evans were really good restaurants, like back in the 80's and 90's. I haven't had anything good at one in years, but about once a year I seem to find an excuse to try it.
