Our favorite Bob Evans is in Lakeland, FL, where we first fell in love with her famous sausage sword and Sunshine Skillet. This place had consistently competent and pleasant servers with good morality. This place in Ocala was okay enough. My husband had the cheap sandwich and salad combo. He said his BLT (bascon, salad and tomatoes) sandwich was very good. The grilled chicken, glazed pecan and cranberry salad came with blue cheese on the top and poppy dress on the side. we have enjoyed bob evans for many years, but for some time not. we were sad to see many of our menu favorites gone (heads cake, top pumpkin cake, grilled cheese and some vegetarian options including a vegetarian friendly suppe.) we came in to start the holidays season and found that we could not get short with our meals only bananenbrot or kekse. who thought that was a great idea for the autumn? erika took care of us. we found menu replacements for the largest part. the extra meat protein dish was very good as the shiny, and the bananenbrot was as good as always (only wish it had been pumpkin.) the mac and the cheese, the cod and the frits of the fries fell in the average short and plentifu...

the waitress was very nice, no serviettes in there we had to use towels. they gave us our food and my wife wanted mushrooms and swirling on her steak. they had to get them and I was almost done when they got them for them. we always come back, why I don't know.

Great food and service. The host is a hoot. Not as crowded as Cracker Barrel, and better food. Had the Southwest Avocado Omelet, delicious!
