The food at Boiling Point is enjoyable, but the restaurant would benefit from hiring or training staff in good customer service. The front desk workers who take your food order consistently display rudeness towards customers. This has been a recurring issue for us as returning customers. It is disappointing to see how Boiling Point has declined over the years; what was once a bustling business now has few occupied tables. Despite the good food, the negative attitude from the front desk lady puts a damper on the overall experience.
Meh I used to love boiling point and I still return now because I get cravings ! I'm not sure I love it as much and honestly, I think tasty pot beats BP anytime now especially since they changed their sauces. I seriously miss their bean sauce that they had since the beginning. Now everything f is just kind of sweet, even the soup base. However, I did enjoy their new curry flavor and I like how their meat looks slightly more fresh than before now. The Hot Pot at this restaurant is incredibly delicious! I was thrilled with both the food and the service. I was fortunate enough to be seated right away and the food came out quickly. I will definitely be returning to try more varieties of Hot Pot. The food tastes good, with a delicious soup base as always. However, the attitude of the female workers at this restaurant location is unacceptable. As a woman myself, I have never felt so disrespected and humiliated while trying to order and eat here. Save yourself from the emotional stress and choose a different boiling point location. This is the WORST boiling point I've ever been to. First time I tried this hotpot chain in Seattle and I was mind blown at how good it was. This location is a knockoff off brand version. The broth had little to no flavor, the amount of food they put in was skimpy, and the sauce containers on the table were all empty and sticky.Food: 1/5
Bad attitude, dining area smells bad, food was horrible. This location has nothing similar than the other locations. We had a great experience before in Pasadena, have no idea how can they be so different. The food looks really bad and you can tell they’re trying to cut to cost. Feel sorry for the brand.
