Not Sunday Lunch!Wow, what a train wreck! Our server was Nate, and we have had him one or two other times. He's well above average and has great table rapport. But as I was waiting (which we did a lot of), I noticed he was covering a lot, and there was not a lot of staff. Knowing rocky times were ahead of us, I said something like, “Wow, you're all over the place. Is it still hard to hire servers or hard to keep them?” I learned it was neither. I always come to Bonefish Grill to have bang bang shrimp but this is my first time at this location. I usually share my Bang Bang shrimp with my partner because they top up satisfying amount. Yet, this location served a quite funny amount that even we got 1 full portion each, we were still starving. They obviously served a half smaller size than what we got usually. Their website picture for this dish is a better representative what we usually get than what we actually got. This was so unsatisfactory and we drove 1 hour just for this dinner. Without a doubt one of the most well run and friendly restaurants in Grand Rapids. They may be a “big business” type restaurant but they sure don’t make you feel like that. My wife and I were welcomed in and treated like family from the moment we sat down, to the moment we walked out of the door. Andrea (waitress), Dionne (manager), and Curneak (owner), are all exceptional and I truly mean it. From my wife’s nutritional needs/requirements, to mine; everything was up to (actually beyond) standard. Bonefish is now our go to date night spot.
As far as I am concerned, this is the best fish place I have ever been to. The service was amazing, Ryan did such an excellent job being our waiter. The food was absolutely delicious, every bite I savoured as I ate every bite in ecstacy. I loved the aesthetics of the place as well, enjoying every part of it!

One of the most disappointing experiences I have had. I was so excited to go here for my first time and was let down. Bland food and small portions for the price. The server was not apologetic but simply said that we shouldn't have ordered what we did.

Delicious Poke Bowl for lunch! Brought my toddler along and wait staff were friendly and interactive with him. Did not get a picture of Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer but it is a must try!
I had a marvelous day here for lunch with my boyfriend and on a Monday afternoon there was literally no one else in the dining room area, except near the tail end of our meal.
