Went with my husband for an Anniversary lunch. Been a number of times but in the evening when it’s usually packed. The food has always been lovely apart from 1 thing this time the cheesy garlic bread had zero garlic on it. I mentioned it when they ask ‘is everythings ok with your meal’ and was just met with ‘oh, ok’. No offer to swap it for another one, nothing. So slightly disappointed with that. I would agree that the prices are on the high side, all things considered. One thing I found, going in for lunch, is that they allow dogs inside the restaurant. I don’t agree with this, I think they should be kept outside of where food is being served. Plus the dogs all kicked off and starting yapp...
The chips at this restaurant were amazing, especially on the day I broke up with my girlfriend. They were delicious. She had visited her mom for Christmas and her mom had convinced her that I was a pimp, which I found completely absurd. However, the staff were wonderful and very knowledgeable about gluten-free options for my celiac disease. I really liked the atmosphere of the venue - it was pretty cool. I definitely plan on returning, as soon as I find a new girlfriend. Peace.
The service is great, and staff are very friendly and can’t do enough to help you. Bonzo is an ideal place to go with kids, young and old. The noise that younger ones can make, is absorbed into the background. They have a children’s menu that doubles as a drawing mat. Food for both children and adults covers most people’s tastes. The quality is okay, and comes quickly. Menu doesn’t change much , so can be a bit repetitive if you visit multiple times.
On a rare sunny day in April, I decided to enjoy a drink outside at Bonzo. The floor was covered in food and paper cups. I cleaned the table myself, clearing away empty plates and cutlery and wiping it down with a tissue. My husband went to get drinks and we ended up paying £15.45 for a bottle of Sol beer and a medium white wine. We were not impressed and will not be returning.

Wait time for part of the order was missing and didn’t arrive!! So asked where it was and it arrived after an hour just when we were leaving!! I was promised a refund but not holding any confidence although I see the payment is due out tomorrow a day after the visit. Not very happy as a big fan of these cafes normally..
The service was satisfactory, but the food was lacking in flavor, portion size, and temperature. There was no spinach, the mushrooms were cold and over processed, and the eggs were decent but the hollandaise sauce tasted like plain mayonnaise. Overall, the dining experience was very disappointing.
Excellent lunch, not expensive. laid back atmosphere. Music perhaps a little loud. Sofas and books for those perhaps wanting just a coffee and sanctuary. Small mix up in the order- they could not have been more apologetic- replaced it and offered a drink on the house.
Had a lovely meal 3 meals were all good but one meal was a little over cooked so they refunded and bought out a new meal that was all good and then on top of that to show great customer service they gave us a free round of drinks on the house

Always a good breakfast, friendly, helpful staff and all round nice relaxed vibe to the place. Sometimes there is a queue for a table in peak times but what popular place doesnt!
Met a lovely women there on my first perfect date made even better by friendly staff and great food and drinks, highly recommended the tapas selection
