We used to come to Bosscat very frequently when they were at their last location. This was our first time to the new spot. I have to admit the food and the drinks are not as good as it was before. We got the same stuff we always get. These are my thoughts in comparison to our previous experiences here. The Bosscat sweeter, more juice then alcohol, definitely more measured. Pulled Pork Hushpuppies were undercooked, outside was crispy but inside was all mush and the pork had a “mealy” fat texture. BC Press same mealy texture as the hush puppies Bosscat Burger chefs way in my opinion used to be the best burger in oc, now it’s not crave able, it’s just another burger. Cyntia forgot multiple orders, and one of our friends spent the entire night without receiving anything to eat. She didn't even notice that there was no plate in front of her. The bar service was painfully slow, too; there were possibly only two bartenders, and they only had a few tabs open. While they were friendly, they spent more time chatting than serving drinks, leaving guests waiting over ten minutes for just two drinks. I ordered the fish entrée, which Cyntia had described as flaky and delicious, but it turned out to be soggy, flavorless, and overwhelmingly fishy. I’ve been a long time fan of Bosscat. Unfortunately, the last year+ has been very disappointing. I’ve tried to reach out directly to their management with zero success. Service was slow and very inattentive. Since the food isn’t memorable, boarder-line below average, the service is terrible, and the new location is inconvenient, I doubt we will be back. I think our waitress’ description of our Butcher Board (after we finally flagged her down to ask sums it up, “you have a meat, another meat, sausage, a blue cheese, another cheese, honey mustard and vegetables”. Came out for date night and wasn’t disappointed at all. Both of our first times there and was happy about it. Our waitress was amazing, I’m sorry I forgot her name smh! Her recommendations were a HIT haha. Everything she told us to get, just amazing. So nice and sweet! Highly recommend and we will definitely be having more date nights there Everything was super easy. Thank you for making date night extra enjoyable!

We had a large group and were seated in a private room. We had a month old baby with us so we appreciated the quieter atmosphere. Everything was very tasty from the appetizers(have the poutine! to desserts (banana pudding!! and cocktails. Service was attentive and knowledgeable and fast but not hurried.
Finally, a restaurant that truly deserves your time! The food was excellent, the drinks were delightful, the decor was stunning, and the music added a fun atmosphere. Thank you! I will definitely be back.
Had Sunday Brunch. Food, service drinks were on point. Make sure you have a Breakfast in Bed shot if you like whiskey.
