The server informed us that they were out of Boudin balls, which was ironic given the name of the restaurant. We were directed to another establishment that sold the Boudin balls we were looking for, but since we were visiting from Texas and had limited time, we had to to look for food elsewhere instead of enjoying what we originally came for at Boudin King. It was quite frustrating to search for a place that didn't even have the dish they were known for.
first, the drive is terrible. I called a command. I waited in the line for 10 minutes to the window and paid for my order the lady tells me it will be 6 minutes. I said, okay, she asks me if I can move up and wait for my order. if I wanted to come in, I would have. gas is too high.
The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere! Although the gumbo didn't match my expectations for a rubber bear, it was still quite tasty. It's located just 1.5 miles from I-10, and I think it's definitely worth the trip! The place is very clean, and the staff is friendly.
Absolutely the most overpriced, worst fried catfish in all of southern Louisiana!!! I willing to bet the rest of their food is good; but they need to removerhe fried catfish from their menu Réservez une table maintenant
I've been eating Boudin King for 20 years and it never gets old. If you are hungry for homemade fried chicken this is the place to go! We always get boudin too!
Been coming here since I was knee high, amazing food and can't beat any of it! It's definitely a gem and small town hidden secret that is a must visit place!
The food is excellent. It's somewhat pricey, but I would still come back if I'm in the city. It's always a great option for takeout.
