finding a niche in the crowded iondon restaurant market is a challenge. the selection of a kind of kitchen, whether street food, fine eating or a regional based concept allows relatiw easy procurement and a kitchen that can be occupied with specialists. in comparison, the seafood restaurants are nothing new, but it is ambitious to distil the best out of the world's coastlines, and to a certain extent counter-intuitive. while we all know that earthworms in December are not local products, because the air traffic became affordable, there was a return to local ingredients. the idea behind bouillabaisse is to serve the best from all over the world...read more
The food was very disappointing, all the dishes had a similar flavour, nothing exciting or adventurous. The lamb chops were labelled as a main dish and cost £18 pound something, and when they came out it was 2 tiny pieces of lamb with some pomegranate seeds, i don't know how you could class that as a main dish?? and same with this dish, pretty uninspiring flavours. If the food was half the price my review would be much more positive but the food we got for the price we paid was unacceptable. The overall vibe of the restaurant was really nice, great decor and a nice atmosphere however the food really let the place down
a fabulous new unique fishing restaurant in the heart of mayfair from the people behind my favorite restaurant chotto matte in soho. every seafood lover has to visit this place, with a large selection of all kinds of seafood, cooked to perfection. restaurant interieur resembles a boot with quirky features. special wine cooler, take a high point at the end of the restaurant. visit below where they can see the live lobster and crabs and choose to eat their own!
