our server, Drake was excellent and the quality of food was amazing. the spinach artichoke dip with pita bread was great and so was my chicken carbonara. my boyfriend got the crab cakes and coleslaw with sweet potato fries and he loved his meal as well!the only thing that threw me off about the experience was being seated at a table in the middle with booths on both sides. therewere other booths available on this less than busy Tuesday night, and we were the only couple sitting in the middle. it kind offelt awkward but it wasn?t a big deal.
Comfortable, casual but with better than typical college town food. Service was great even though they were busy. Got jambalaya pasta, and shrimp and grits both were made with the exact same sauce but it was super flavorful, a bit spicy, and nice herbaltouches. Beer selection is solid with bottled regional brews. Did portions were great not stupidly huge, but generous. Acouple of dessert options, we had cobbler which was very tasty, but served with generic vanilla ice cream.
One of the best restaurants in Oxford! The food is fresh, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is wonderful. My favorites, aside from the spinach and artichoke dip, are the salmon BLT sandwich with sweet potato fries (though I skip the bacon). You can enjoy it there or take it home—either way, the quality is the same!
