I have driven by this restaurant many times but never entered as it looks a bit like a dive. However, while the inside is a bit dated the food was very good and reasonable. Parking lot was busy but we had no issues getting a...seat right away. I gauge a restaurant by it's bathroom. The bathroom was big, clean and nicely renovated. Breakfast for 2 adults and 1 10 year old was 23.40! Eggs were cooked perfectly. The coffee was awesome! If you like Splenda for sweeting your tea or coffee, bring your own. Will be back! Having dealt with some family issues we realized that we had not eaten at11am and decided to try Family Restaurant for brunch. Greeted by friendly staff in a pleasant dining area we chose Eggs Benedict and a full English breakfast. Food was plentiful and good...and prices included coffee

The food is always excellent, my family has dined there for over 30 years. The staff are warm and friendly. Janice is the best waitress ever.

Just gross... Dark and dingy... Roast beef should contain some beef not just a pile of fat with gravy on it! So disappointed!!

One of my mother's favourite restaraunts. I can also attest to this after eating there as well.
