Today, I visited this lovely café with my daughter for lunch, and I highly recommend it! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious. The menu offers an excellent variety; it would be hard for anyone not to find something they like, and we were truly impressed! I ordered the steak pie, which was beautifully prepared and topped with rich gravy. My daughter had the crispy chicken burger with chips, and she loved it—especially the tasty chips. Been here a number of times now for Sunday lunch. Even made a special journey from Warrington to Liverpool just for our dinner. Staff are really helpful and service is great. Food is all fresh and always served piping hot. If I had one bit of advice it would be to change your knives as its difficult to eat as they are blunt and need replacing.

Friendliest service I have experienced in city centre. Had the Cumberland lunch with chips, big portions and still wanted more but too full. Very decent pot of tea. All priced to fit my limited budget. Recommending it to all my friends etc.

My Nan loves it, my best friend now loves it.. Had most stuff on the menu and its gorgeous. Love their scouse, its amazing! All I can say is brilliant staff, brilliant food. Give it a try.
I had a burger and fries, and the fries were some of the best I've had in a long time. The staff was very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!
