Had to update this review after last week’s take out experience. ALL the portion sizes were cut in half but cost the same . The most significant cuts were (1) the size of the Arepas de Pollo and (2) quantity of the Costilla de Res but even the serving of maduro was cut in half. I know times are tough but this was excessive shrinkflation. Likely won’t be going back for a while. Getting half of the expected portion for an almost 30 entree was a HUGE turn off. Brasitas in Stamford has become a really cute place and they have a lovely team of waiters, all very friendly and attentive. They are going the right way: shorten the menu selection and keep only the best dishes. And have a few specials of the day. The roasted beets with burrito and figs on endive was wonderful. The Mojito Cubanos were a little weak. But good. The paella easily served two; it is not made like the Spanish version (a risotto cooked in the pan that it is served in) but more like seafood on top of Arroz con pollo. We've been to Brasitas twice now, and will definitely come back often. The service is fantastic from very friendly and accommodating host and servers to quick turnaround on food and drinks. Every item we ordered was delicious. The table starter of plantain chips with homemade salsa is incredible you might ask for seconds! The mini empanadas are perfect tasty bites and the ceviche was fresh and went quickly. Every entree was on point, including the rice and black beans which are perfectly made. We haven't tried the desserts but they looked great at nearby tables.
Absolutely amazing. Best restaurant in Stamford in my opinion. Everything is bursting with flavor and is truly curated with love. The seasonings, the cook times, the atmosphere, the hand crafted cocktails. Everything perfect! You have to get their house sangria! The taste is much better than black stone grill and capital grill down the street with a far more reasonable price Parking at the Stamford location kinda sucks but hey, It’s 100% worth it. A summer evening at brasitas is something everyone needs to experience

I have been going to Brasitas for 24 years. I have always had an amazing meal and great service . They are like family .
I got takeout and it was absolutely delicious. Next time I plan to eat in restaurant and try more menu items!
