Brasserie Historique La Coupole 1912

Had two meals here in the Pavillon section of the restaurant. We were looked after by Lucio, who was friendly, discreetly attentive and very professional. The food was of good quality and the portions were enormous; only order a first course if you have a large appetite! The house white wine was good. Slightly more expensive than some of the places that we ate in around Montreux, but with plenty to eat you get what you pay for. (Tip if you detest smoking as much as we do, ask for a table on the side of the Pavillon nearest to Vevey rail station. There is a section of the brasserie which is half inside, half outside and seems to allow smokers.

What a great find! Three friends for a Sunday lunch. Two wanted Chasse but I'm not really a meat eater anymore so I was happy to find this brasserie had not only chasse but mussels. And I was thrilled that they had a smaller portion of mussels instead of the big pot of 1 kg that most places serve and which is far too much food for me. All of the food was beautifully presented and tasted even better if that is possible! Our waitress was wonderful and fun. Lots of entertaining interaction and attention to detail. Everything about this place was great from the moment we walked in. I will definitely be back and will recommend!

When you pass the door, you really feel like being in a real Brasserie! The service is always nice, people are smily and you feel welcome. We always go for seafood when it is time as it is one of the only restaurant which serves it: it is always fresh and excellent!

This classic restaurant has a good choice of both fish and lake fish. All we tested was very good, service customer oriented with processo aligned to other lower level restaurants in the area. Wine list too short and incomplete comparendo with the Wide menù.

The staff was very friendly, but we went there as it is marked as having “vegan options” and they have absolutely NO vegan options, unless you can count a side green salad. My non vegan friend said the food was good but a bit overpriced.
