Impeccable service and attention to details, highly skilled staff make for a nicely paced dinner outing. To start, a nice bottle of rosè and done sparkling water...they brought fresh pretzels, which were very good! We had the escargot and the mixt salad, both were very good. Then we chose the baeckeoffe (meats and potatoes in a pot) and the quenelle of pike with rice and spinach. While both dishes were flavorful, the portion of the meats and potatoes was enough for 2 persons, which was overwhelming for my wife, plus it came with a large side salad! My pike dish was a bit surprising since it stated quenelle of pike (similar to a dumpling) but didn't look like that...i may have been served the...
A la recherche d'un déjeuner, nous avons trouvé le restaurant par hasard, il restait 2 places au « Stammtisch ». Nous avons été complètement surpris par la qualité de la nourriture et le service très sympathique. Il n'y avait littéralement rien à redire sur notre expérience. Au cours des prochains jours, nous serons en tournée en Suisse et dans le nord de l'Italie. Nous avons évoqué à plusieurs reprises la merveilleuse aventure brasserie de la Maison De Têtes. Sur le chemin du retour, nous avons décidé de revenir dans ce restaurant, cette fois pour le dîner. Encore une fois, nous avons été bluffés par la qualité de la nourriture. Nous ne pouvons rien faire d’autre que de recommander ce resta...
Profoundly pleasant, warm and friendly welcoming by very polite and kind staff. They made sure all COVID-19 measures were followed which provided for a feeling of safety and comfort. We were seated in a very cosy courtyard at the centre of the 'Maison des Têtes ', which is one of the architectural masterpieces in Colmar. Truly stunning what the owners did with the building. We ordered the 'Le Bon Menu ' and had a wonderful three course meal with a great whine from the Elzas region. Looking forward to go back and stay in the charming hotel the nex time. A visit to Colmar isn 't complete without a dinner, lunch or stay at this beautiful place.
We did not eat at the more formal restaurant in the hotel, preferring the cozy wood panelled Brasserie. It was quiet enough to easily converse with tables spread out among alcoves that were like stalls in a barn...3/4 height walls of the most beautifully carved light wood. Service was impeccable and although the menu was limited, everything was delicious.
