Well stocked, clean and busy deli that'll make you feel you're right smack in central Warsaw! Interesting European canned and bottled goods of all types, snacks, sundries, you name it! Visited the full service hot food counter as well as the self service buffet bar today to grab an assortment of delicious, authentic Polish Eastern European favorites. Happy to report that everything was delicious. The stuffed cabbage (huge portions was one of my favorites! The pirogies were packed with flavor and delicate you can tell they're super fresh. Huge amount of Polish and European groceries, sausages, meats, cheeses, breads, pastries and prepared food. Was so happy to have been introduced to this place. There was, however, one drawback for me- I’m not Polish and I don’t speak Polish. The younger people that work here speak English, but I encountered the typical Eastern European rudeness from the older workers which I didn’t appreciate. Mind you, I’m Baltic myself, so I know what I’m talking about. One of the other reviewers that wrote in said he got the feeling that he was being discriminated against because of his race. Who would have thought I needed polish food in my life and stomach. Tiny polish supermarket with all things polish. In back there's a cold cuts and hot food counter. Got lunch, barely, from kind ladies who spoke polish. Big table with amazing looking food. That said, don't look for a lot of veggies or healthy dishes, think meat and potatoes. Got stuffed cabbage, potatoes with gravy and cucumber salad. Could not eat more than 1/2, and I though I was hungry. Huge servings at decent prices of deliciousness. Saw a lot there that perked my interest. No dining area, strictly pickup only. Wallington DMV, you are now DMV of choice from now on.
Hot food runs extremely salty, with dangerous levels of sodium even on items that need little to no salt, such as the fish and potato pancakes. Yet despite mentioning it to a manager, I was told I could go elsewhere if I didn't like it! There's also a major discrimination factor against certain customers, as many employees including the food servers! refuse to speak to or deal with customers who can't speak Polish! So the experience can be a rather hateful one. Last week, most of what I purchased was not edible, so money can easily be wasted. In short, a real disappointment and kick in the face for this lover of Polish foods.

Place is always pretty busy, I enjoy soup there, fresh cooked, but I thing I got overcharged for a piece of Salmon, wich BTW was the smallest and very plain, English is very limited there and the hot food area is confusing if you don't know polish, tip cups every service stop...lol, prices are ok, good variety
Bratek Deli is amazing! The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and they offer a fantastic selection of Polish products. I highly recommend it!
I love this deli. Best soups for best price in town. Plus, the smell of smoked pork when you first walk in is delicious. Pierogis are also wonderful.
This is the best place for authentic Polish cuisine. I've been shopping here for more than 15 years.
