Had low expectations on a holiday. Took a walk down in the village and wondered where everyone was. It was a ghost town. Michigan weather finally felt like summer and decided to graze as I went. My first and only stop of the day was Bravo. The environment was too dark for such a nice day to eat in. They have patio seating with and without umbrellas. The waitress was prompt and had an avg 5 tables two tops or more assigned. I didn’t see much on the menu I felt like having so I ordered calamari to start. Disappointing is the best I can muster from a restaurant that looked very promising. On a mid week night that wasn’t too busy one would not expect to be told we are out of bread and proceed to tell us “I don’t know why…”. The remainder of the dinner was a series of server gaffs and management blunders. First the rest rooms were not clean and not stocked with toilet paper in all women’s stalls and didn’t have paper towels at the sinks. Follow that with no bread and a server that seemed to make things up as she went along, contradicting herself on two occasions. The food was ok, fresh pasta is always a plus. Food looks really good, taste is okay. Atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I have an issue with the service I had, the waitress never really stopped by, waiting for the food and receipt took forever, and having her come back to take my card took even longer. But that is fine, the place was packed so its somewhat understandable. The biggest issue I have is that they sat us on a very bad flimsy round table. The table would lean and move just by placing an elbow on it. I requested them to move us to new table, which also took some time. The funny part is that after moving us, they also sat a party of 4 on that same bad table, and sure enough they also request to move. Does management not car...
Stopped in for a birthday dinner and the family had the back room reserved. We ordered calamari and Margherita flat bread as appetizers. I had a few margaritas on the rocks, a small Caesar salad and the Fra Diavalo with shrimp. The appetizers were good. The margaritas were great and the pasta was excellent. I don’t remember the name of the lady who was serving us but she was very nice and had a pleasant personality. I don’t have a single complaint about my experience at Bravo. As always, I will be back to try something else.

We haven’t gone to Bravo in years and forgot what the food was like so we thought we’d give a try. As soon as we took our first bite we remembered why we hadn’t gone the food is awful. Dry pasta, overcooked chicken, and tasteless sauce. And it was not cheap at all! The bread and oil was the best part of the meal and our server was good too. There are many better Italian restaurants nearby you should try first. Heck, even Olive Garden is better than Bravo and much cheaper too!
I firmly believe that the overall experience at a restaurant is just as important as the quality of the food! Every time I dine out, I enjoy exceptional food and an amazing experience, all thanks to Alyssa and Darrell. They are attentive, friendly, and truly make me want to return! The service is excellent, and the management at Rochester enhances it even further. Hats off to Alyssa and Darrell!
I had dinner at Rochester Hills, and everything was perfect. The ambiance was just right, and the service was both lively and efficient. I would recommend this place time and time again. They also have a small outdoor bar right outside the location. Although we don't drink, we thought it was fantastic to enjoy some beverages in the park while listening to live entertainment!
I had an incredible experience at Bravo in Rochester! Thanks to Alyssa, this will be the only location I choose to visit. She ensures that my experience is special each time I come in. It is the best Italian restaurant that I had ever been. Our server Jimmy is so nice and hospitable. Strongly recommend Spaghetti Bolognese!!
