My husband and I live just outside of Ohio, so we haven't been here in over 20 years. Last night we drove the miles to get there and it was just as wonderful as we both remembered. The shakes were thick and delicious. The originals we ordered were steaming hot, covered in onions and SOOOOO GOOD. We also got a plate of chili cheese fries to share--they were crispy and perfectly covered. The wait staff and cook were friendly and helpful. Well worth the hour drive.
Visited here for the first time in a long time on Friday, June 23 around 1 pm with my brother. All these years, they still have great food and great service. Someone in another review complained about not getting pickles, but we did on our regular cheeseburgers and sliders. Crinkle fries with chili and cheese were good too. Next time I might get just cheese on the fries.
Bray's Hamburgers is great because they do what they do very well. I'm going to go there for burgers and delicious fries with chili. This is a old-school Detroit establishment and I'm proud to spend my money there. I'm never disappointed! The service staff is cool as hell.

The waitress was a pip, we had a great time and she made us smile. Customer service at its finest! She should be teaching this skill all over the world! A+ for sure!!!
Had a great experience tonight, thanks to the manager as her staff! Grew up eating Bray's, now live in Montana and always stop in. Love this place!
