A beautiful venue for a casual Saturday or for an occasion to celebrate. This place is a treasure of Fremantle hidden in a one way side street. Note: please be prepared to spend a little longer finding parking if driving! We started with some beautiful fresh bread with olives and salted butter. Our entire group had the main prawn dish which was to die for. There was just the right amount of prawns for a fulfilling main dish, however, was light and enjoyable for a summer evening. We each had a different dessert. Each was as enjoyable as our main. Will absolutely be returning. Staff were incredibly busy, as expected for a Saturday night in Fremantle, but each staff member was attentive so over...

It was my first time dining at Bread In Common with 4 other people. I really enjoyed the food from entrees to main courses. The bread and the spread was amazingly nice. The main courses we ordered were very tasty and pretty close to fine dining quality. We all had shared plates. The interior setting of the restaurant was pretty welcoming. The settings in the upper floor was cosy. The staff were friendly and the food service were not slow at all being a packed house. Although parking on the streets are limited, it is recommended to park at the multi-storey car park which is a short walking distance to the restaurant.
We started with the bread. Well of course we did it’s in the name of the restaurant and not to be missed. Ate with olive oil and hazelnut dukkah and perfect with butter. The white bean dip with saltbush was outstanding. The gents at the table devoured the sardines with pleasure. The swordfish was cooked to perfection . Loved the mushrooms and fennel and the asparagus. Would highly recommend and wish we had more time in Fremantle to go back and sample the items on the menu that we missed.Great atmosphere, great service
When the dish is too pretty to eat. Sunday Breakfast here is a must. I was tossing up between this walnut, pecan and almond granola and the French toast. I'm glad I went with my first choice. Fruity, crunchy without bring way to sweet as some granola bowls are. J had the scrambled Eggs with Dukkah which were nice and fluffy. Great if you want something smaller for breakfast. Even better than the food and coffee (5/5) was the decor and pretty lights. .<br/ Réservez une table maintenant
Went to Bread In Common for the first time for lunch with a friend that lives in Perth. What an amazing place. The decor is ultra cool industrial, the food was outstanding and as a chef I was in foody heaven!! Lots of incredible vegie dishes on the menu, great bread with a large amount of accompaniments... service very good, staff very good, wine list very good...A must if in Freo!! I will be back soon.Thank you....
Great ambiance for a slow Sunday start. The home made butter is soft, creamy and light, goes so so well with their fresh bread I also love the fruit bread with butter. Well balance of sweetness and slight saltiness from the butter; toasted just right with the right thickness in the slices
The bread was easily the best part as it was so good. But the lamb was stinky for me so if you have trouble with lambs normally then best skip it. The pork was nice but it was sweet. Nice atmosphere for evening drinks though I think.
Great ambience and laid back atmosphere, Nice place to relax and enjoy tasty small plates even if by yourself travelling. Fantastic service also, thanks for the recommendation on the Kangaroo skewers... flavour bang and tender! Réservez une table maintenant
Great restaurant. Starting with oysters and finished with bread and butter pudding with lamb ribs, potatoes and carrots in between. Good wine list and friendly service. Thanks
Bread isn’t the first thing I think of when I go for lunch. But honestly this place far exceeded my expectations. There is absolutely nothing to fault- definitely recommend.
