OK OK, so we went in hungry, and everything tastes better when you're hungry! We we're looking for a decent place to have a good feed and a chat. We were not expecting the huge amount of burger choices on the menu, the delicious sides (try the barbecue chicken bites), the array of options for fries or even the above average bottle of wine. The food was delicious and filling. It's not the cheapest burger place in town, but if you are looking for high quality, this is the place. Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable about the food, even asked the kitchen to create me something bespoke. The only shame about the visit is that we didn't have space for a dessert!
Burgers were very good but you order the sides separately. Felt there wasn't enough in each portion for the price. Cocktails were very good. My husband had the donut burger which was a novelty. We didn't feel we had enough to eat when we were finished. That may be down to what or how we ordered. Staff were friendly and we weren't waiting long for our food despite it being very busy.
Ate here last night as a party of 6 friends on a very busy Saturday night. Food was brilliant, 5 of us had burgers and 1 had a brisket toastie. All were impressed with the food. Side orders of dirty fries, chips and Katsu curry and onion rings were all ordered and all were great. Will return with these friends again but will also bring new friends to try this food!
Visited this place after reading reviews on trip advisor and the food is amazing ! Tried haggis for the first time when I saw they did haggis pakoras and they were fantastic. Lovely clean restaurant, very attentive staff and beautiful food. We need one of these in newcastle

Good food, excellent service and plenty of tables available for a quick lunch before catching the train. Waitress really helpful when wrong drink was brought. Had the blue cheese burger, it was delicious
Had the classic royals, chicken sub, Katsu curry chips and sweet potato fries. Very tasty. Be aware their burgers are slightly pink , you can order them well done . Service was excellent.
Casual eatery with table service. I would say that unless you order from the lunch menu, your lunch will be pricey. The plain hamburger with no fries is £10.
Delicious food, really generous portions too. The staff were really nice, on the ball serving. The halloumi fries were delicious.
