We were welcomed at the entrance and quickly taken to our table. We booked online in advance very easy using the link on the restaurant website. And there was a reminder message the day before our booking. Our server, Grace B, was very attentive and took our drinks order first. Grace returned to explain the Festive Menu options and to take our order. The main festive item is turkey all the trimmings (several other options available). There were several slices of turkey breast meat, stuffing balls, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes parsnips, Brussels sprouts, carrots, peas a little jug of gravy. £14.99 for 2 courses or add a 3rd course for only another £2.00. We booked for Christmas Lunch way in advance for, the booking said we can book from 11.30, 11.45, 12.00 and so forth, we chose 11.30am slot this morning we wake up to an email to say thank you for cancelling your booking which we didn't do, so we rebooked for the exact same time and the confirmation came through. 2 minutes later the booking was cancelled again. We phoned and the girl on the phone said we should've paid in advance by going into the restaurant (It doesn't state anywhere online or on the booking confirmation that we have to go in to pay in advance) and to top that we said no problem we will pay over the phone or go in to pay the girl then said we don't take people in from 11.30...
Sadly disappointed What used to be a delightful place is a shambles 4 min wait it was quiet, to get seated ended up asking someone ok got seated The menu was the same old but hey ho. didn't wait long for the meal which was slapped on the table,I ordered the spicy chicken burger I nearly needed a magnifying glass to find the sauce which was on top of a mass of green stuff(think it was lettuce) hard to tell after taking most of that off the bun yea 3 burnt chicken coujons and a slice tomato well the chips weren't to bad well where can you go wrong there. the shocker was £3.19 for a mug of tea, what the heck ok it's never ending depending how much you want to drink but that's disgusting for a t...
This restaurant is a good option for meeting a friend from the west coast as it’s a half way journey for us both.We have been using the restaurant for years and usually have the Christmas meal mid December todays meal was good except no Cranberry Sauce with turkey.Grace served us and is very efficient and friendly and it’s always pleasant to be served with her.We will be back for a meal in the New Year.

After a challenging day stuck in the Highlands during the storm yesterday, and driving since 3am, we finally arrived in Dunfermline at 7pm and received a warm welcome at Crooked Glen. Grace was absolutely fantastic and deserves a raise. She was incredibly helpful and took great care of us - just what we needed after a stressful journey. We returned for breakfast this morning and it was excellent.
During our stay at the Premier Inn, we dined at the Brewers Fayre for dinner and enjoyed a few drinks. The food was delicious, but it was Grace's outstanding service that truly stood out. She took care of us and other guests with a warm smile and great humor, making our experience a pleasant change from our previous restaurant visit.
Grace was amazing. Her customer service was top-notch as she looked after all of the guests. She truly enhanced my dining experience by checking in with me and ensuring everything was to my liking. As a solo female diner, Grace made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Kudos to Grace for a job well done.

Customer service was great, we had Grace as our server, nothing was to much trouble for her, very attentive to our table and was great with my niece and food was good
Last minute visit and waitress Grace greeted and treated us very well. Good meal, reasonably priced and we will return sgain.
